LA-based artist Kevin George has revealed his upcoming EP, Three Can Play, At Love, and the music video for the album’s lead single: ‘When You’re Alone’. The track itself is heartfelt, with an emotional lead vocal sitting above chords coming from a distinctly blues-toned guitar. However, it is the background of this track that proves most interesting. George explains that “Signing with a major label so early on in my career was the worst decision I’ve made thus far... Signing with a big company like Universal all within the same year got the best of me. I let the pressures of a big investment take a toll on my creative and that was my biggest issue. I almost lost my innovative spirit”. Being released from his contract has allowed him to return to his roots, writing and producing everything himself and giving his legions of fans an output made up of honest work. - Dan Peeke
